Youths in Bengaluru collect groceries to feed slum dwellers, families of auto drivers

As the lockdown for 21 days has made slum dwellers worry about the lack of essentials, a few youths from Bengaluru have begun the act of collecting groceries to distribute to the needy

 

There are those young people who have become a headache for the community during lockdown, taking empty roads as an opportunity to pop wheelies. They can take a few lessons from few youths of LB Shastrinagar who are using this time in collecting groceries to distribute to the poor and needy.

 

The youths say there are auto drivers and slum dwellers who are daily wage laborers and have no work. At this point in time, they also face issues with essentials like groceries.

 

To help them get the basic needs, food essentials are being mobilised.
