Yadigir: District's Dukanwadi residents in Karnataka welcomed COVID-19 recovered patients by undertaking a huge procession, while neglecting social distancing norms and lockdown rules. This happened despite the area being 'sealed'.
At a time when social distancing, wearing masks are necessary to contain the spread of COVID-19, the family members and area residents of Dukan Wadi in Yadagiri, put hundreds of people at risk by taking out a rally.
The video is now going viral and the area is attracting criticism for such a “foolish act”.
Recently, two persons from the area were tested positive and were treated at Kalburgi District hospital. After they recovered and were discharged, the area residents gave them a hero's welcome.
