Watch how Sai Dharam Tej responds to doctor's call ahead of collar bone surgery
In a big development in the nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi and actor Sai Dharam Tej's bike accident, the treating doctors at Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital may operate on his broken collar bone today.
As per treatment protocol, doctors tried to wake up and speak to the patient and as good news to family and fans, when doctors patted him on his shoulder and asked to open his eyes, the actor responded through his grunts.
Tej had met with an accident on Friday evening at Durgam Cheruvu Bridge after he lost control over his sports bike and crashed.
His condition looked serious initially but after doctors evaluated him, they concluded that injuries are not lethal and he only suffered a bruise and fracture on his collar bone.
Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police reportedly booked IPC section 336 and 279 and also under Indian Motor Vehicle Act 189 for riding beyond permissible speed limits, overspeeding and negligence.
The actor is said to have paid a challan for overspeeding earlier as well.
In an effort to prevent overspeeding, Madhapur area Traffic Division so far has booked 17,917 cases for overspeeding and after Tej's accident despite signboards asking motorists to ride below 50 kmph speed limit, the checking has been intensified.
