In a video that went viral on social media, villagers from Karnataka can be seen taking part in a temple festival breaking coronavirus lockdown rules. The incident occurred in the district where 16 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported.

As the nation is under complete lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, villagers of Karnataka's Kalaburagi district have violated rules by participating in a temple festival. The incident occurred at Ravoor village of Chittapur taluk in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district.

Villagers celebrated the Siddhalingeswara chariot festival by pulling the chariot in their village as the crowd gathered. Ravoor village is just 3 kilometers away from the hotspot that's been sealed. Kalaburagi alone has 16 positive coronavirus cases.
