VHP workers on fast, protest over murder of sadhus in Palghar

Two sadhus were lynched to death by a murderous mob of over 100 people in Palghar, Maharashtra. The incident came to light after the  video of the incident was shared on social media. 

Palghar: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) workers protested over the murder of two sadhus in Palghar, Maharashtra. In a video, the workers can be seen fasting, reading shanti mantra.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) extended support to Vishwa Hindu Parishad with respect to this protest. Sadhus Kalpavriksha Giri (70), Sushil Giri (35), who belonged to the Juna Akhara, and their driver Nilesh Telgade (30) were beaten to death by a murderous mob of over 100 people with sticks. The incident which took place on April 16 came to light only when the video of the incident was shared on social media.
