Veterinary doctor murder: Women’s organisation holds protest; demands severe action against culprits

Vijayawada: Days after a veterinary doctor was found raped and murdered in Telangana's Hyderabad, hundreds of people from the women organisation in Andhra Pradesh took to the streets of Vijayawada on Sunday (December 1) demanding the government to take severe action against the four accused. 

Members of the women organisation, holding the banners demanded justice for the victim and safety for women.

Burnt body of the veterinary doctor was found at Shadnagar outskirts in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district on Thursday (November 28). As per the preliminary probe, the police suspect that the doctor was sexually assaulted before being charred to death.
