Telangana bus strike: If not on work, you will be dismissed; says transport minister Ajay Kumar

Hyderabad: The employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Friday decided to go on an indefinite strike from the midnight of October 5, even as the government said it would impose the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) and suspend those taking part.

Following the strike, Telangana chief minister called state transport minister P Ajay Kumar for further discussions. After the discussion, the transport minister addressed the media and said that employees who do not report to their respective depot managers by 6 pm on Saturday, would be dismissed from their duties.
