Soldier martyred in Jammu, Kashmir counter-insurgency operation cremated in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Mortal remains of a soldier, who lost his life in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on December 24, reached his village in Rajasthan's Bharatpur. The final rites and cremation took place on Thursday (December 26).

Saurabh Katara, a 25-year-old soldier, was recently married and lost his life in a counter-insurgency operation.

Earlier, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, chief minister Ashok Gehlot and deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot condoled the death of Saurabh Katara.
