Sachin Pilot EXCLUSIVE: Nitish Kumar's days are over, it's time for youth

Speaking exclusively to Asianet, Pilot said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'jungle raj' statement shows his apprehensions about chances of grand alliance's victory in the election.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot has said that Bihar is preparing for the next generation of leaders and the elections will be step forward in the direction.

Speaking exclusively to Asianet, Pilot said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'jungle raj' statement shows his apprehensions about chances of grand alliance's victory in the election.

"For 15 years, Nitish Kumar has been chief minister. You (Narendra Modi) have been PM for 6 years. So it is your 'raj'. What happened in Munger yesterday -- people were killed and brutalised -- who's responsible for that? You can't hide your non-performance by blaming the previous governments. That's a sign of weakness."

"Nitish Kumar has had his day. You people will take charge. he has not performed. And there's a huge wind of change. I am confident that our Gathbandhan will get a huge mandate on November 10," he said.

"We have spoken about the issues of Bihar, they are speaking temples and mosques, Hindus and Muslims. I don't think that is not what the people of Bihar want to hear," he added.
