Ram Temple donation row: HD Kumaraswamy courts controversy, 'homes of who don't donate being marked'

Former CM and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy has once again courted controversy by making a statement on Ram Temple Donation.

The leader who earlier tweeted saying homes of donors and those who don't are marked held a press conference and said the same.

He also claimed that he has some information regarding these instances of marking homes. The former CM also said that in the past when there was a clash between the US and Germany, the Nazis used to mark homes and carried out an attack and massacred lakhs of people.

Kumaraswamy says according to historians, RSS and Nazi took birth at the same time and fears the same principles are being followed. He said many are under fear and said even journalists cannot express their views freely these days.

Statements from Kumaraswamy have drawn criticism from religious leaders and politicians and accused him of insulting Lord Rama by making such statements.

Interestingly, Kumaraswamy had forged an alliance with BJP for the post of Karnataka Council chairman and ensured Basavaraj Horatti got the plum post.
