Rally in support of CAA in Punjab’s Gurdaspur

Bhagwan Valmiki Kranti Sena leaders and members took out a rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act in Gurdaspur, Punjab. The leaders said they will extend their support to the Modi government in the implementation of CAA.

Gurdaspur: While most parts of the country witnessed violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, a march was taken out in support of the newly enacted law across the markets of Batala in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. Activists of Bhagwan Valmiki Kranti Sena held a rally in support of CAA and raised slogans such as ‘Bangladeshi Baghao’. The leaders of the Bhagwan Valmik Kranti Sena, who led the march, said that with the implementation of the Citizenship Act, all those seeking refuge in India from many years will get citizenship. They also added that his organisation supports the decision of the Modi government and those who are opposing this are disrupting the atmosphere of the country. A request letter from the leaders of Lord Valmik Kranti Sena addressing the Punjab government was handed over to district collector of Batala.
