Activists contended that the TN leader is not a freedom fighter nor a writer or a poet to give such prominence in Karnataka border by putting up her banners in Tamil language.

Following the announcement that TN leader VK Sasikala who is staying at a private resort in Bengaluru outskirts, will return to Tamil Nadu, Tamil banners have been put up in Anekal and Hosur of Karnataka-TN border. After activists were tipped off, they rushed and pulled out all the banners and warned owners of resorts not to put up Tamil banners.
