Pregnant woman gets attacked, dragged, robbed for gold chain; Video goes viral
An eight-month pregnant woman being attacked by a chain-snatcher at Pallavaram has emerged on several social media, causing public outrage. Watch video.
In CCTV footage, a pregnant woman was attacked and robbed of her gold chain by unknown miscreants in Chennai’s Pallavaram. The video shows chain snatchers pulling her on the road in front of her house in broad daylight. Listening to her screams, the neighbours came out of their houses while the snatchers vanished from the spot with the gold chain. The woman, identified as R Geetha, suffered injuries and taken to a private hospital for treatment. Also, her husband Ramachandran registered a complaint in Pallavaram police station. Now the video went viral and sparked outrage among locals.
