With complaints flooding in on Twitter and other platforms of reckless, dangerous and negligent riding, especially on the outer ring road and newly formed layouts, Yelahanka Police cracked down on three motorists performing stunts on Sunday.

Police say, as the ring roads and newly formed layouts witness less traffic on weekends, unruly motorists take advantage of the situation and use it to perform stunts.

According to the data from Bengaluru Traffic Police, in January; 1266 cases of reckless riding, 4381 cases of speeding, stunts and 10 cases of racing and speed trials were reported.
