NCB detains 4 people in Kolar for transporting 86kg marijuana

The National Crime Bureau in Bengaluru busted an interstate drug trafficking racket near Kolar in Karnataka. Four people, including one woman has been detained.

Bengaluru: The National Crime Bureau (NCB) in Bangalore busted an interstate drug trafficking racket on November 26 near Kolar in Karnataka. The four accused were travelling from Kolar carrying 86.13 kgs of marijuana. 

The woman is believed to be leading the network of drug trafficking and they had procured the marijuana from Visakhapatnam.  They were intercepted by NCB team while they are looking for a bus to Hoskote in Bangalore to supply the contraband. 

The woman and her associates were active in the business for a long time and is believed to have a big network in Kolar, Punganur and Bengaluru.
