MLA touches feet of policeman as mark of respect

Visakhapatnam: Araku Assembly Constituency MLA S Phaluguna touched the feet of an ASI and saluted him, as mark of respect to honour the police force. The incident took place on Wednesday evening.

The MLA who was passing by the road in his vehicle, stopped near the policeman. He stepped down from the vehicle and saluted the Assistant Sub-Inspector D Ram Mohan and other constables. The MLA then touched the feet of the ASI and told him that tribals in the Visakha region have been able to live safely due to the police force.  Mohana Rao said, “Cops are striving hard in this testing period for the nation and I hope we will overcome this troublesome period".
