Minor blast at Karnataka railway station; two injured

Hubballi: After a box exploded at a railway station in Karnataka's Hubballi, two people were injured. The duo was rushed to the hospital. The Karnataka Police started an investigation to find out whether the exploded box contained firecrackers or any other explosive materials.

According to reports, the blast occurred when a man picked up an unclaimed parcel at the railway station, exactly at a major junction where the headquarters of the South Western Railway Zone is located. The Hubballi railway station PRO said, "State police and railway police are jointly investigating the case, and we are not in a position to give much information."
