Man offers Namaz at beachside, MP Pratap Simha takes potshots via Twitter

Offering Namaz at the beachside has become a talk of the town in Karnataka's Coastal area as the man argued with guards that raised objections.

The incident that happened on Sunday evening has caught MP Pratap Simha's attention, who also shared his thoughts.

Sharing the video, Simha wrote in Kannada, "Road aithu, railway platform aithu, sarkaru field aithu, kandavara jaminu othuvari aithu, ega beech gu bandhaithu" (After roads, railway platform, government filed, encroaching others land and now it has come to the beach)

In the video, a man can be seen with bread offering Namaz behind the cement resting chairs. Later on, the guards gathered, and the women from the community got involved in the argument.


As per reports, the family argued with guards for objecting.

The Padubidri's beach is among the eight beaches from India that earned the title as 'Blue Flag' by an eminent jury consisting United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
