Kerala Budget 2020: Rs 20,000 crore worth of infrastructure development work will be carried out

Thomas Isaac said that Rs 20,000 crore worth of infrastructure development work would be carried out under the Kerala Infrastructure and Investment Fund Board (KIIFB). He presented Kerala Budget 2020.
 

Thiruvananthapuram: Finance minister Thomas Issac presented the state's budget for the year 2020-21 in the Legislative Assembly. This is the final full Budget of the Pinarayi Vijayan-led LDF government and the 11th state budget.

The FM announced that Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) will spend up to Rs 20,000 crore for infra projects in the state. A total of 20 flyovers, 74 bridges and 44 stadiums will be built. Drinking water projects at the cost of Rs 4,383 crore will be implemented with the help of KIIFB as well.
