Kartarpur Corridor: SGPC opens special counters for registration; bus services for devotees soon

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has opened special counters and deployed volunteers to help devotees fill online application forms to visit the holy Sikh shrine in Pakistan.

Kartarpur: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has opened special counters for registration to cross the border to enter Kartarpur in Pakistan. A special bus service will also be provided to devotees.

As devotees are lining up to fill online applications and register themselves to visit the holy Sikh shrine situated in Kartarpur, SGPC in India has lent out a helping hand by setting up special counters to get work done sooner. SGPC leader Roop Singh said that volunteers are in place to help people fill application forms. The devotees have been asked to carry their Aadhaar card, photocopy of their passport and a passport size photograph. He promised that a bus service that transports devotees from the terminal will also be launched soon.
