Karnataka minister Eshwarappa courts controversy, likens deputy CM's post to Aishwarya Rai
Bengaluru: Karnataka’s rural development and panchayat raj minister KS Eshwarappa courted controversy comparing the deputy chief minister's post to Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.
The BJP leader answered so when asked if the disqualified MLAs in state, who joined the saffron party, will be made deputy chief minister if they win the by-election.
Karnataka’s 15 Assembly constituencies went to by-polls on Thursday (December 5). The results will be declared on Monday (December 9).
