Karnataka floods: Farmers dump vegetables in Mysuru as prices plummet due to rains

Several farmers in Karnataka's Mysuru dumped the vegetables outside the  Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market and complained about the low price

Mysuru: Farmers in Karnataka's Mysuru were forced to throw away tons of vegetables as prices sank in the market due to heavy rains in the region. Tomatoes, cauliflower and other vegetables were seen lying on the ground at Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market in Mysuru.

Vegetables became wet garbage for the farmers as they don't have proper shelter or godown to store them. APMC Market is going to hold a meeting with vendors to stabilise the prices of vegetables.
