Karnataka by-election: Mosque, burial ground littered with leftover food, plates
It appears that the people in BBMP limits have lost common sense and bear no sentiments. In a recent case, after the by-elections, party workers ended up littering the premises of a mosque, with leftover food and plates.
After the by-polls in KR Puram which falls in BBMP limits, party workers who had put up tables to distribute voter slips littered the premises of a mosque with leftovers, plates and election materials. The incident occurred at a Muslim burial ground and mosque at Namjoshi Road near Vimanapura East Primary School booth in HAL limits.
D Randeep, additional commissioner, Solid Waste Management says, BBMP will force those who littered the place to clean it up and also impose a penalty if it can identify the culprits. In case no one is caught, BBMP will end up cleaning the place themselves.
