Hyderabad veterinarian rape and murder case: Doctors take out rally

 Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department Director and staff protested over the rape and murder of the 26-year-old Hyderabad based veterinarian.  

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department director and staff staged a protest at their office in Hyderabad's Labbipet on Friday (November 30), demanding for strict action by the police against the accused

The protesters said that it was unfortunate that the cases involving rapes and murders were on the rise even in advanced cities. They said that there is no safety for women doctors, they shouted. 

The charred body of the 26-year-old was found on Thursday (November 28) on the outskirts of Shadnagar in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district. The body was later identified as that of the Hyderabad veterinary doctor. She had earlier been reported missing when she went to a clinic. 

A day later,  the Hyderabad Police detained four persons in connection with the crime.
