Here is why protests and political events should be shifted out of Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Congress's protest to take on BJP over its fund allocation in Bengaluru City crippled the normal traffic movement on Thursday near Town Hall as the supporters, and party workers hit the roads with vehicles and gathered in large numbers.

As this place is the prominent road to City Market and Majestic, motorists suffered a lot getting stuck in traffic due to the protest. Mobility experts and the general public feel that such protests, political events and weddings that attract huge crowds near Palace Ground should all be banned and shifted out of the city.

According to mobility experts the city roads are already choked with over 70 lakh vehicles which is beyond the carrying capacity and protests like this will only result in the city getting declared dead in coming years.
