Grocery items repacked with BJP leader's name, Congress MP says this is an attempt to taint CM's image

After raiding the Karnataka government ration store with grocery items meant for free distribution during the coronavirus pandemic, Congress MP DK Suresh and Congress leader VS Ugrappa were shocked to notice the local leader repacking the items in his name. The MP said this is a ploy to taint Karnataka CM Yediyurappa's image.

Local BJP leader in Karnataka has been accused of misusing government machinery for branding his name and BJP party while distributing grocery items.

Congress MP DK Suresh, Congress leader VS Ugrappa and Anekal MLA B Shivanna raided a government ration store in Anekal limits on Friday and discovered these irregularities.

The government official was confronted and the Congress leaders warned him of severe action if he fails to give a written complaint against the local BJP leader whose name was found on government-issued food items.
