Former Army man attacks magistrate with bat in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: Dismissed Army personnel identified as Jasbir Singh brutally attacked an Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Madan Singh Garbyal using cricket bat in Ghaziabad on Sunday. The official was attacked while he was walking in a park. Madan Singh received serious injuries and was admitted to the ICU and now his life is out of danger. “The reason of the attack is yet to be ascertained. Attacker is being interrogated. He says that he was earlier dismissed from Army, it's being verified. He had also worked at some malls from where he was fired. He was currently unemployed,” said Ghaziabad SSP Kalnidhi Naithani.
