Farmers take out rally in Bengaluru; traffic comes to grinding halt in surroundings of Majestic

The indefinite protest by Karnataka farmers over agriculture sector reforms threw city traffic out of gear as parts of Majestic specially near the railway station, Anand Rao Circle and Freedom Park witnessed slow moving traffic.
 
 
The situation may remain the same for a few days as the farmers’ organisation has decided to continue to agitate till the ongoing Monsoon Session lasts in the Karnataka Assembly.
 
 
The farmers warned the government to pressure the Union Government to drop the bills, else they would vote the government out of power in the next election.
