Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait's old video asking farmers to enter Delhi with lathis goes viral

An old video of Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has gone viral. In the video, Rakesh Tikait is seen asking and appealing his supporters to be armed with lathis for the Republic Day tractor rally and be prepared to save their land. Tikait can be heard saying "The government is not listening. Come with your sticks and flags." After a pause, Tikait asks his supporters to 'understand his words, come along with flag atop lathis'.  

After the video emerged on social media, Rakesh Tikait has distanced himself from the violence and the Red Fort incident during Republic Day.  Watch the video.
