Engineering student donates Rs 1 lakh to Karnataka CM’s relief fund to battle coronavirus

Even as people continue to break rules and guidelines laid by state government amidst coronavirus outbreak, a student named Amulya has turned out to be an inspiration after donating her savings to CM’s relief fund

Bengaluru: A college student in Bengaluru on Monday submitted a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to fight the battle against the deadly coronavirus. Amulya, an engineering student of a private college in Bengaluru said she had saved this amount as pocket money which she had accumulated over the last few years. The college student remarked that she could not have utilised this for a better cause. Amulya was at Vidhana Soudha today and presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to chief minister BS Yediyurappa in the presence of deputy chief minister Ashwath Narayan, health minister B Sriramulu and Medical Education minister Dr K Sudhakar.
