Delhi shootout: Three men arrested after shootout at Dhansa Najafgarh road

Three men, who were arrested after shootout in Delhi, are identified as Pramod, Nishant and Surjeet. While Pramod and Nishant are residents of Bawana, Surjeet is a resident of Rohtak.
 


New Delhi: The Special Cell of the Delhi Police arrested three men in connection with the gunfire which occurred in southwest Delhi's Dhansa-Najafgarh road on Wednesday (September 25). The accused are identified as Pramod, Nishant and Surjeet. While Pramod and Nishant are residents of Bawana, Surjeet is a resident of Rohtak.

The incident took place on the Dhansa-Najafgarh road when the trio, who were travelling in a car from Haryana towards a hideout in South Delhi, opened fire at the police team and two of the accused sustained gunshot injuries during the exchange of gunfire, a police official said. According to reports, the accused were wanted in at least eight different cases including robbery, extortion, carjacking and attempt to murder. The car used by the accused has been seized and three firearms along with ammunition have been recovered, the official said.
