Coronavirus outbreak: Man pours sanitiser, burns currency note found on road

An unclaimed Rs 100 currency note was burnt after pouring sanitiser on it in Mysuru to prevent the risk of spreading coronavirus.

Mysuru: The fear of coronavirus and unsubstantiated stories of people trying to spread the virus by scattering things, have scared people so much that they have cultivated a sense of fear of touching such things. A new currency note of Rs 100 denomination was found lying on the road at Nazarbad near Mylari Hotel in Mysuru on Friday. As people turned panicky at its sight, a man poured some sanitizer on the currency note and burnt it, not taking any chances with the spread of the deadly virus.
