Coronavirus lockdown: Rajasthan Police punishing men playing cards at home draws ire from netizens

Jodhpur Police on rounds, found four men playing cards at a house and punished them for violating lockdown rules when they were allegedly indoors.

 


Jodhpur: Four men who were playing cards during lockdown in their house landed in trouble when police arrived at the doorstep.  A viral video is making the rounds in Jodhpur, where police on duty asked the four men to come out of the house and punished them for playing cards.  Though the men adhered to social distancing, the cops asked them to come out of the house and made them do sit-ups. As soon as the video went viral, people expressed their anger and questioned how the police could punish the men who were following the rules. Sadar Kotwali Police said that three men had gone to their neighbour's house to play cards and also it was a mistake on the part of the constables to punish them due to their inexperience.
