Coronavirus: Jodhpur prisoners go on hunger strike, demand release

Jodhpur prisoners have gone on a hunger strike inside the prison demanding bail or release due to the coronavirus outbreak. 1,000 prisoners including the rape convict self-styled godman Asaram are on hunger strike. The inmates of Jodhpur jail didn't accept any food in protest. Earlier, jail inmates had written to the Chief Justice for the same and have refused to accept food till their demands are met.
