Coronavirus has no effect in Punjab, says state health minister

Punjab health minister Balbir Sidhu inspected blood banks at Civil Hospital in Amritsar. He said Punjab is completely ready to tackle the deadly coronavirus and there has been no coronavirus case reported in Punjab. 

Amritsar: In Punjab, the health department is taking all measures to ensure that coronavirus doesn’t spread in the state. Punjab health minister Balbir Sidhu who was on rounds at the Civil Hospital in Amritsar said that though no person has been infected with the deadly virus in Punjab, the state is taking all precautionary measures to contain the virus. The passengers arriving in India via Attari Wagah are being screened for coronavirus and in Amritsar airport as well. The minister said so far, no case of coronavirus has been reported.
