Coronavirus: Chandrababu Naidu with other leaders in Andhra Pradesh take precautionary steps

Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and TDP chief along with other leaders took safety measures to avoid the spread of coronavirus

Vijayawada: To avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus, TDP chief and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, along with other leaders, took precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the virus. Naidu, along with other leaders, took the thermal screening at his office near Mangalagiri.

Those who were having abnormal temperatures were not allowed to attend the regular meeting of the party and were sent back for treatment.

India’s first confirmed coronavirus-linked death was reported when a 76-year-old man from Karnataka’s Kalaburagi tested positive for the deadly virus. The second death was reported when a 68-year-old woman from Janakpuri, Delhi, admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, succumbed to the virus. She was the mother of a confirmed patient of Covid-19.

Maharashtra’s first death and India's third due to Covid-19 comes at a time when the state is moving towards a partial shutdown in an effort to fortify its defences.
