Coronavirus awareness: Viral ‘bhajan’ on Covid-19 has netizens in splits

A viral video of a bhajan song on coronavirus during a Holi celebration in New Delhi has left the internet in splits.

As the number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise in the world as well as in India, it has impacted daily life as well. As the government is trying to create awareness among people, here is a person singing bhajan and asking the Lords to help.

Yes, at a Holi celebration in Paharganj, New Delhi, bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal’s song has gone viral. Comedian and writer Mallika Dua shared the video on his instagram page and captioned it, "O kitthon aaya Corona? Jagrata is better than cure."

In the video, Narendra Chanchal is heard singing, "Dengue vi aaya, Swine Flu vi aaya. Chickunguniya ne shor machaya. Khabre ki-ki ho na? Kitho aaya corona? Maiya Ji, Kitho aaya corona? (Dengue came as well as Swine Flu. Chicken Guniya made a lot of noise. Many things make news, but where did corona come from?)"

Also, a large group of people can be seen sitting together repeating the words of the bhajan, but the government has cautioned against such big gatherings. In India, so far 84 coronavirus active cases have been reported with two deaths registered.
