British Army delegation pays respect to Golden Temple, officers remember 'Battle of Saragarhi'

British Army delegation visited the Golden Temple and spoke about the Battle of Saragarhi that occurred in 1897

Amritsar: A delegation of British Army visited Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib that is also known as Golden Temple in India. They also paid their tributes to the 21 Sikh soldiers who died fighting in the battle between the British Indian Empire and Afghan tribesmen, called the 'Battle of Saragarhi', in 1897. The British Army delegation also said that there are at least 175 Sikhs in their force currently.
