Bengaluru’s IT companies suffer as only 10% of employees are able to return to work

Karnataka government introduced new relaxations including permission for factories and IT companies to operate at full capacity during lockdown 5.0.

Bengaluru:  Companies and industries can resume operations from June 1 with 100% capacity as long as they keep to social distancing norms in Karnataka. But are the companies really happy with this decision as they can resume work? What are the difficulties they face?

Founder & CEO of LegalDesk.com Krupesh Bhat says only less than 10% are able to resume work. "Public transportation is the main issue why employees are unable to rejoin work, it is also difficult to work with speed and efficiency considering the low number of people at work. We are unable to conduct live meetings too as there are internet issues and power fluctuations in the office and in homes of employees", he said. He added that it has become a challenge to work.
