Bengaluru's bodybuilding champ Shabaz reveals his struggles and his road to glory

Bengaluru's own Shabaz rose from rags to riches by keeping his passion for bodybuilding alive even through his difficult days. He credited his mother for all his achievements and said she is his pillar of strength in life.   

Bengaluru: This young champion from Bengaluru, who rose from rags to riches will leave you inspired with his story and passion. 26-year-old Shabaz is a bodybuilder who worked hard and brought laurels to the country. He had a passion for bodybuilding from a young age but his life turned upside down when his father passed away at a young age. His mother struggled day and night to make ends meet and Shabaz thought he had to give up his passion for bodybuilding. However, fate had other plans. He did not quit bodybuilding and his coach Hytham Sadiq pushed him to achieve big. Shabaz won many accolades and his first was in 2013 winning the Mr Bangalore Kishor and Mr Bangalore Kumar titles. He has a number of achievements in his name and dreams to achieve more in the coming years.  His accolades include titles like 2013 Mr Bangalore Kishor, Mr Bangalore Kumar each 5 times, Mr Karnataka 7 times and Mr India title and fourth category in 2018 Mr Asia pageant. His recent awards include 3rd place in Mr International which was held in Muscat in 2018 and he was also given PRO card after his participation in Mr Asia pageant held on December 1, 2019. Shabaz credited all his achievements to his mother who helped him stand tall despite facing troubles in life, while leading him on to the right path.
