Bengaluru based motorcycle club transports medicines to be distributed near Kerala border

Riders Republic, a Bengaluru based bike club is making efforts to ensure that needy patients suffering from rare diseases get the required medicine supply from Bengaluru by transporting medicine to Kerala Border.

 Yatish Babu, a member said, " in order to help patients with rare conditions like haemophilia and other conditions, based on the request of patients and doctors’ advice, we set out on our journey to provide medicine. Despite rains on the Karnataka-Kerala route, we managed to reach Kannur and delivered medicine. We are not restricted to one route, we start from Amruthalli in the North East division and reach other regions to provide medicine on bikes. We bear the travel expenses."

 The bikers before embarking on their journey, ensure they have taken right medicine, carry tools on the bike to address mechanical issues.
