Daily wage workers in Bengaluru are struggling to get one meal a day since the lockdown was imposed. Many times, they have to starve without food. Almost 50 huts in Shashtrinagar and Rameshnagar have been locked and daily wage workers went back to their natives as they had no job or no means to buy food. However, the couple who is still residing in one of the huts said that they have been given food by the people and also the government. These people earn a mere Rs 500 to Rs 800 per week.
