BBMP misses November 10 deadline to fill up potholes; mayor blames Metro work
With the November 10 deadline to fill up all potholes in BBMP limits over, the civic body has many more such dangerous potholes left. The BBMP commissioner says majority of the potholes have been covered and the remaining will be finished in the coming days. Mayor Gautam Kumar Jain blamed metro work for the delay in a few areas and said small repair will not help and complete asphalting will be taken up shortly.
Known for missing deadlines in project execution, the BBMP has failed to surprise people as it has once again failed to live up to its word in filling up dangerous potholes.
Complaints had started pouring in as all eight zones in BBMP limits witnessed an increase in the number of potholes by the day.
