Bengaluru: Residents of Mahadevapura have caught the attention of authorities with a protest demanding that public representatives like BBMP corporators, the MLA and MP for the area resign for failing to provide basic infrastructure like roads, drains and streetlights in places like Bellandur, Varthur, Whitefield and Kundalahalli and Marathalli.

With BBMP delaying in fixing these issues, many residents have become victims to craters and potholes. Residents from the zone held a protest with placards expressing regret over choosing public representatives who do not deliver on promises despite collecting taxes.

The MLA for the constituency Arvind Limbavali spoke out and said that the issues will be looked into soon. He assured the people and stated the grants under the rule of the previous state government could not be achieved but has been obtained now.
