Andhra Pradesh Police seize marijuana worth Rs 27 lakh; 2 arrested

Vijayawada: Vijayawada Task Force Police seized 546 kg of marijuana worth Rs 27.3 lakh in Prakash Nagar. In connection with the case, police have arrested two persons. It is reported that the one among the arrested is the truck owner, in which the marijuana was carried. And the cleaner of the truck was also arrested. The arrested duo were identified as Eluvalai Venkatesh and Lokanatham Rajesh
 
After receiving an anonymous call, police started checking vehicles at Prakash Nagar and found the truck heading towards Tamil Nadu. Police said that the truck was going to Rayavellore in Tamil Nadu through Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada.
