Amritsar Police are giving lockdown violators some special treatment. We have heard news of police making violators do sit-ups and roll on-road as punishment, but Amritsar Police have found new ways to embarrass them.
Amritsar: Police are in search of and have found new methods to punish lockdown violators. In Punjab's Amritsar, police officials have been garlanding lockdown violators to embarrass them.
Cops have so far been successful in their new plan, where citizens are ashamed of being garlanded. Violators who are garlanded say that they won't leave home unnecessarily anymore.
Police who punish violators also check the temperature of the people as a precaution.
Amritsar has reported 214 coronavirus cases so far.
