Nashik: While addressing a public gathering in Maharashtra’s Malegaon on February 29, MLA of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Mufti Mohammad Ismail, had said, “An incident of firing took place in city, why was no FIR registered? If it comes to us then dept (Police department) should note that if we know to maintain peace then we also know how to disrupt it.” “We are not wearing bangles,” he added. Later, on March 1, he clarified his statement saying, “I said it in context of my city. It is not connected with Maharashtra or India.
