28-year-old man commits suicide after killing minor cousin

Jodhpur: A young man committed suicide after killing his minor cousin in Rajasthan's Jodhpur.  28-year-old Govind Choubey committed suicide after killing his 12-year-old sister. After killing her, the young man cut the veins of his neck with a piece of glass, which led to his death.

The family hails from the Banaras region of Uttar Pradesh. The young man had come from Banaras to his grandmother's house before the lockdown. The grandmother told police she was shocked when she saw blood coming out under the door of the room in the morning. Upon seeing this, she shouted for help and neighbours reached the spot. Neighbours immediately informed police, who found several glass pieces in the room.

According to initial investigation by police, a quarrel between brother and sister ended up in the murder. Police is still investigating the case.
