11 YSRCP ward volunteers arrested for partying amid coronavirus lockdown in Andhra Pradesh

Visakhapatnam: Defying lockdown orders, a group of YSRCP ward volunteers were found consuming liquor and celebrating the birthday of a colleague. The incident was reported from Yetikoppaka of Yalamanchili village in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. 11 ward volunteers celebrated with liquor while none wore masks or kept social distancing in mind. The residents informed the police who arrived at the spot and detained them under IPC sections 188 and 269 for violating lockdown rules.
