Death threat for hairstyle? Mollywood actor threatened by veteran producer

Mollywood celebrity Shane Nigam has allegedly received death threat from veteran film producer Joby George. It is alleged that the Veyil film producer threatened Shane Nigam for his hairstyle, which failed to maintain continuity in the film.

A video has gone viral on social media, where Nigam can be seen explaining that he had finished a 16-day shoot schedule of the movie Veyil and in the meantime, he started working on another movie Qurbaani. For Qurbaani, Nigam was asked to get a hair cut as it needed different look.

He was supposed to have long hair for Veyil, but when he trimmed it, things did not go well with Veyil's producer Joby George, and he thereby sent threatening messages. Shane Nigam also shared the recordings of the phone call along with some photographs to the media. He also registered a complaint with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) regarding this matter.
